Spring Cottage

In the centre of mediaeval Clare, next to the Clare Country Park, this charming, welcoming and comfortable Victorian beamed cottage is ideal for up to three visitors who want to explore this beautiful part of Suffolk. The house has a sitting room, desk / writing area, kitchen, and charming couryard garden with a small pond. Upstairs, off a small landing are two lovely bedrooms – one double, one single. The bathroom has both a walk-in power shower and separate bath. The well-equipped kitchen contains everything you could need in a self-catering cottage – hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine.

Spring Cottage is a wonderful place for a break, with the Clare Country Park, 13th Century Augustinnian priory, the ruins of Clare Castle, and lovely walks by the River Stour right on your doorstep.

Parking is available free of charge overnight opposite the cottage, in Clare Castle Country Park’s car park.
